Green Vines with Gold - Vintage Book Cover Notebook

This vintage book cover notebook is bound with a soft cover, with 48 pages of lined, fountain pen friendly paper that's acid-free for archival quality. The inner cover features marbled end papers and a bookplate, and the history of the book cover is displayed on the back cover. The design of this vintage notebook is taken from the cover of FAIRY TALES FROM THE ARABIAN NIGHTS, illustrated by John D. Batten -- the illustrator of a number of the famous COLORED FAIRY BOOKS. He was a superb designer as well as an artist, and the design on this cover is probably his. This book was published in 1893 by J.M. Dent & Co., London. This product was custom designed and created at our location in Seattle.
