Bench Pressed accepts many forms of payment including: all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple pay, Venmo, and cold hard ca$h.
Sorry, we do not accept personal checks or Diner's Club cards at this time.
PARKING INFO
We have free parking available in two (2!) places for our customers, including ample street parking along 26th Avenue, as well as in the shared lot behind the shop. For the latter, please note that this is an unmonitored lot that we share with other businesses and tenants in the building. Bench Pressed customers can disregard the signs threatening to tow unauthorized parked cars.
Please do not park directly in front of the shop. That is technically an unmarked no-parking zone per the City of Minneapolis and you could get ticketed!
ACCESSIBILITY DETAILS
The shop at Bench Pressed is fully ADA accessible all year round. We have a portable ramp available for folks who use wheelchairs: just give us a call at 612-406-3250 when you're at the vestibule door and we'll bring out the ramp! This info and phone number also appears on a posted sign on the door :)
When the weather's nice, we keep the big front garage door open. This turns the shop into kind of an open-air environment… C'mon in!
Once the temps dip, throughout the winter, and on excessively hot days, we close the front garage door and customers can enter the shop via a regular door at the corner of the building. It remains unlocked during regular business hours, but folks who use wheelchairs will need a ramp (see info above). Just follow the giant green arrow painted across the garage!
WE'RE PET-FRIENDLY
All well behaved dogs are welcome in the shop! We just ask that owners keep their fuzzy companions leashed and under control at all times while in the store. The same goes for adventure cats, cockatiels in backpacks, etc…
A related heads-up: Bench Pressed staff often have our own shop dog(s) behind the counter. Don't be surprised if one of their cute little noses pokes out to see what's going on!
SHOP ENVIRONMENT
During the week, we regularly have several presses running simultaneously as we produce our letterpress cards and custom jobs via Good Lookin' Print Co. Feel free to watch from the shop side of the counters but please do not enter the printing area.
Heads up for folks sensitive to noise: This may feel loud or overwhelming! If an in-person trip to Bench Pressed feels too overwhelming, you can shop online 24/7 and choose from in-store pickup or ship-to-home options :)

The variety of treasures we offer here at the shop is remarkable! However, we do not sell hot made-to-order coffee drinks, bikes, custom t-shirts… But we can usually point you in the right direction for these things.
